Third Ave el in the Bronx

The remnant of the Third Ave el in the Bronx was the last working place for the venerable Low Voltage cars and the 1939 World's Fair cars. Here is a sample of some of those cars as the worked the line between 1968 and 1972.

Third Ave el 149th Thrid Ave terminal. The line was cut back to here in 1956, when the Manhattan line was taken out of service.
Third Ave el 161st St. The lead car is one of the 1939 WF cars.
