This photos show the real MU metroliners that were ordered by the Pennsylvania RR in 1966 or so. and operated for a number of years as Penn Central and Amtrak trains.

station. Additional information: This photo is on the Reading Co. bypass track of the Philadelphia to Newark mainline. This is where the Metroliner cars were powered up to be taken to interchange with the PRR/PC. This is about 7 miles from the Budd plant and yard in Philmont |
